The Rudy Ruettiger Foundation is a 501c3 non profit organization dedicated to the support and recognition of those who aspire to fulfill their dreams through character, courage, contribution and commitment.

Rudy Ruettiger, the inspiration for the blockbuster movie “RUDY” and his wife Cheryl founded The Rudy Foundation in 1997.


THE RUDY AWARD PROGRAM

The RUDY AWARDS ^TM Program was created by The Rudy Ruettiger Foundation to recognize children who make an outstanding, exceptional effort to do their personal best everyday, overcome obstacles, set goals, stay on track to reach their Dreams and build the qualities of Character, Courage, Contribution, and Commitment into their lives everyday. The RUDY AWARDS ^TM is about a child’s heart, will to change, and desire for self-improvement.


FUNDRAISING STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

The funds raised by the Rudy Ruettiger Foundation will be applied to cover all program expenses associated with the RUDY AWARDS ^TM Program in the schools, The RUDY AWARDS^TM Celebration, Rudy Leadership Camp, On-line Continuing Education and Mentorship Programs, and Educational Scholarships awarded by obtaining “Rudy Credits”. It is the goal of the Rudy Foundation to stay connected with all RUDY AWARDS ^TM Winners and provide them with a source for information and programs that will help inspire and guide them through all stages of their lives.

Christopher Lawell Inc supports DonorsChoose.org

In the current economic climate, school teachers are struggling to find ways to obtain the tools and funding to adequately teach our students. Whether it’s cuts in arts curriculum, sports programs or school supplies rationing, there is a HUGE opportunity to help these dedicated mentors to make an impact in the lives of our children.

DonorsChoose.org is doing something about this challenge. DonorsChoose.org allows teachers to post projects requesting financial support from donors. The projects range from musical instruments to cameras,  even books for classrooms.  The program provides teachers the ability to post their projects, while DonorsChoose.org collects funds, fulfills the project and even provides donors with the opportunity to see the impact the project has had with personal followup from the teachers and students that each project is helping.
